Using familiar block shapes, I will show how contemporary graphic blocks can be created by enlarging, omitting, rearranging, and consciously using color. Participants will select classic block motifs and transform them directly into modern variations. The focus will be on practical sewing and creative experimentation. Everyone will work on their own modern block designs using the templates and suggestions provided.
