The quilt “The Deep Turquoise” is my own design and was sewn using the Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) method.
The quilt is in a monochrome style, which gives it a strong visual impact. The design of the quilt creates an optical illusion, which is intended to carry you away into a “deep”. Using different shades within a colour tone enhances the effect and creates depth in the quilt.
The FPP method allows for high precision sewing and guarantees a clean and precise implementation of the design.
